Tencent acquired a controlling stake in the streaming platform Huya — it became the third service of this type under the company’s control. This was reported by the portal GamesIndustry.biz.

The value of the shares providing 50.1% of the votes was $262.6 million. Under the terms of the deal, four Tencent managers were given Director positions at Huya, and one of them was given a seat on The Board.

Previously, Tencent received the same share in Douyu. In addition, the company has its own platform that specializes in game broadcasts — eGame.

Earlier it was reported that Tencent became the most successful publisher of mobile games in 2019.

The authors of the Board game based on Wolfenstein collected almost $600 thousand for its creation

Users have donated almost $600,000 to create a Board game based on Wolfenstein. The project was supported by 4.3 thousand backers. Information about this is available on the Wolfenstein: The Board Game page on Kickstarter.

Initially, the company Archon Studio set a minimum bar of $50 thousand, but it managed to raise the necessary funds in one day. At the time of publication, there are 37 hours left until the end of the campaign.

In Wolfenstein: The Board Game, players will explore locations and complete various tasks, as well as collect loot. In total, the set will include 182 maps, 55 figures and 16 game areas.
